FIS Cross-Country World Cup – Lillehammer, Norway
The second stop of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway, was nothing short of spectacular. Fans were treated to a weekend of fantastic performances, with Norwegian athletes seizing the spotlight on home snow, and GOATs excelling.
In the 10km Interval Start, it was a celebration of Norwegian excellence as both the men’s and women’s podiums featured an all-Norwegian lineup. Lillehammer's own Martin Nyenget claimed his first-ever World Cup victory, a hometown triumph to remember. On the women’s side, cross-country skiing legend Therese Johaug made a triumphant return to racing, securing her first win in classic Johaug style in her only second World Cup weekend.
